VALIDATED MODALITIES

Evidence-Based Care

Each young adult has a specialized, wholly personalized treatment plan, structured to provide a seamless transition back into their daily life. Our therapists use a wide range of modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.

VIRTUAL IOP

Telehealth Services

While many programs offer hybrid treatment, with some clients in the room and others at a distance, Newport’s virtual Intensive Outpatient therapy services are delivered separately from our in-person program.

This approach ensures that young adults receive an immersion experience tailored to their needs and customized to make the most of the virtual format—including forming meaningful and supportive bonds with others on the healing journey.

REBUILDING RELATIONSHIPS

Family Component

We utilize the groundbreaking Attachment-Based Family Therapy (ABFT) to restore trust between parents and children.

Regular family therapy sessions support continued healing, restoring parent-child bonds while supporting emerging adults to gain autonomy and independence.

Telehealth services are most effective for young adults following an in-person residential program for mental health or substance use disorders. A virtual IOP supports young people to continue their healing journey within a structured and supportive environment.

Does telehealth work for depression?

Evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing can be highly effective when delivered via telehealth services.

What are the benefits of telehealth?

The biggest benefit of a telehealth treatment program is its ability to provide greater access to care. When in-person treatment options are not available, telehealth options allow individuals to get the care they need regardless of their location.
