Monroe Operations LLC d/b/a Newport Healthcare (“Newport,” the “Company,” “we,” “our”, or “us”), is committed to maintaining the privacy and security of your Personal Information in accordance with all applicable laws. We collect and process your Personal Information fairly and lawfully and in order to carry out our lawful business activities.
Our Privacy Policy explains the Company’s privacy practices with respect to Personal Information collected through its website, newportinstitute.com and dependent pages (together with its features and services, the “Site”), and Personal Information we may collect from you in your other interactions with us (e.g., when you apply for employment or attend one of our virtual or in person continuing education courses, events or conferences). In addition to this Privacy Policy, you may receive additional notice at the time of attending a continuing education course, or other events or conferences.
If you are a patient, the Company’s HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices describes how the Company uses and discloses Protected Health Information (“PHI”) in its capacity as a healthcare provider and in relation to its healthcare services. We adhere to the privacy protections under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (“HIPAA”) for your PHI. This Privacy Policy does not apply to Protected Health Information as defined under HIPAA.

We obtain certain kinds of Personal Information about you from third parties. - We may disclose alumni names, contact information, images, videos and other Personal Information on or through the Site with your consent.

- Newport Healthcare Affiliated Entities: We may disclose your information to other entities that make up the Newport Healthcare organization, or other companies within the Newport Healthcare family.

- Law Enforcement or Other Government Authority: We may from time to time be required to provide information to law enforcement or other governmental authorities pursuant to a warrant, court order, or other lawful process.
SMS and Text Information
Data obtained through our SMS program will not be shared with any third-parties for their own marketing reasons/purposes. Company may send you a text message via SMS or text when you opt-in or consent to receiving those messages. Such SMS or text messages may include marketing and other promotional messages. We may disclose your SMS or text message opt-in or consent data with our service providers that help us provide our messaging services, including but not limited to platform providers, phone companies, and any other vendors who assist us in the delivery of text messages. We do not sell your Personal Information
We do not sell your Personal Information to third parties. Please note that “sale” of Personal Information does not include those instances when such information is part of a merger, acquisition, or other transaction involving all or part of our business. If we sell all or part of our business, make a sale or transfer of assets, or are otherwise involved in a merger or other business transaction, we may transfer your Personal Information to a third party as part of that transaction. If such transaction materially affects the manner in which your Personal Information is processed, we will notify you of such change prior to its implementation.
We share your Personal Information with third party advertisers for marketing purposes. We may disclose your email address to third parties who provide marketing services on our behalf to compile lookalike audiences for targeted advertising. The use of your email for this purpose will not result in your being sent advertisements by the third party.
How your information is stored, transferred, and secured
Company has reasonable security measures in place that seek to mitigate risk and uses reasonable, appropriate and customary procedures and technologies to help protect the confidentiality of any Personal Information collected through the Site. Children’s Privacy
Company does not knowingly or intentionally collect Personal Information through the Site from children under thirteen (13) years of age.
