Our Southern California residential treatment centers for young adults include specialized OCD programs that provide comprehensive care for obsessive-compulsive disorder. Each client’s treatment plan for OCD includes:
- 4.5 hours daily of Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy—the gold standard of care for OCD—delivered in group and individual sessions, in addition to exposure homework
- In-depth assessments, ongoing psychiatric care and medication management
- Attachment-Based Family Therapy to strengthen family trust and connection, and address the family accommodation behaviors that often occur with OCD
- Experiential activities, such as art and music therapy, outdoor Adventure Therapy, and yoga and meditation (depending on location)
- Life skills training and career development to keep patients on track with their educational and career goals while receiving the treatment they need
