Ed Speedling has spent more than 16 years as a healthcare executive and consultant, building, working with, and leading successful, diverse teams that make a meaningful impact on public health issues facing their communities. He specializes in finding innovative solutions that improve outcomes, quality of care, and access to care, with the ultimate goal of creating positive change in current health trends.

Throughout his career, Ed has focused on helping to establish services that support people to succeed and achieve their full potential, especially children, families, and those facing health disparities and social injustice. He has served on numerous boards, including the board of NAMI Toledo, where as vice president, he helped the organization double its annual walk campaign funds to $100,000.

Experience

As president of his own consulting firm, ES Healthcare Consulting, LLC, Ed has worked with nonprofit, for-profit, and community organizations. He has also served in leadership roles for BlueSprig Pediatrics, Inc., Corporation of America’s Capital Division, ProMedica Health System, and Arrowhead Behavioral Health, among others, developing strategic planning for behavioral health and integrated health services. With an MSW degree in addition to his Master’s in Health Administration, Ed has also worked in direct care, in roles including a forensic child abuse specialist, trauma and emergency department social worker, and State of Delaware medical subcommittee chair.
