Caydin Sanders
National Director of Experience
Caydin Sanders has worked in the adolescent and young adult treatment field for more than a decade, and joined the Newport team in 2014. Before segueing into her role as National Director of Experience, Caydin was Director of Alumni Services for Newport Academy, our teen treatment program. A passionate activist and advocate for at-risk youth, she is continually inspired by working alongside colleagues and families who are “courageously stepping into their best lives on a daily basis.”
As National Director of Experience, Caydin supports Chief Experience Officer Carter Barnhart in ensuring that every aspect of Newport’s programming consistently exceeds clients’ expectations. In her prior role as Director of Alumni Services, Caydin oversaw all alumni coordinator teams as well as the development, implementation, and promotion of Newport Academy’s Alumni Program and Association. Before moving into that position, she served as a Residential Supervisor and then Regional Discharge Planner for our locations in Southern California.
Experience
Caydin’s past experience in the field includes a Lead Residential Associate position at Childhelp, an organization supporting abused, neglected, and at-risk children. In addition, she worked with the CEO and founder of the Teen Project, which provides healing and hope to young women who have survived human trafficking and homelessness, to develop and implement a housing and education program. Caydin also volunteers as a special event photographer for Covenant House California, a nonprofit that provides shelter and supportive services to homeless and trafficked youth, ages 18–24.
