A Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Caroline believes that treatment should never be cookie cutter—what works for one may not work for all. Each individual has specific circumstances in their lives that need to be addressed specifically. Hence, she focuses on providing a foundation of unconditional support upon which clients can build self-esteem and learn to advocate for themselves.
Before joining the Newport Academy team in 2018, Caroline spent nine years with Corizon Health as a clinical supervisor and lead therapist, working with inmates in both prison and juvenile detention halls throughout California. During her tenure with Family Builders by Adoption, she worked with foster youth in group home settings. She also served as a social worker for San Diego–Imperial Counties and as a behavior specialist for Springall Academy.
